Hi, I’m Leticia—scientist, leader, mentor, coach, and advocate for transformation. My story is one of growth and reinvention, shaped by a journey from the lab to a deeper connection with myself and the world around me. Through a combination of science, mindfulness, self-discovery, and spiritual awakening, I’ve experienced first hand how intentional changes can reshape your life.  Now, I’m here to help you do the same—to embrace your awakening, find your purpose, and lead with authenticity and impact. Let’s shape a life and leadership journey that reflects the true you.

The Scientist in Me

My journey began as a scientist, earning a PhD and immersing myself in academic research across the globe. From my hometown in Argentina to Buenos Aires, Madrid, Paris, and eventually London, I explored the depths of biology, focusing on how we function at a cellular and molecular level. Alongside my formal training, my personal fascination with optimizing and "hacking" my own physiology through diet, fasting and exercise laid the foundation for much of what I am today.

Over time, my curiosity led me to specialized training that complemented my biological expertise, expanding into the realms of psychology, personal transformation, and meditation. This combination sparked a profound passion for understanding the intricate connection between the body, mind, and spirit.

A Spiritual Awakening

Even though I had checked off so many of life’s big milestones—a solid career with two degrees, a happy marriage, a beautiful daughter, and a established life abroad—I often felt like something was missing. It was this nagging sense of having a lot but still feeling unfulfilled. Along with it came waves of anxiety and challenges in managing my emotions. Desperate for clarity and balance, I turned to meditation, hoping it could help me find the answers I was searching for.

I began practising Vipassana meditation (a type of mindfulness) at the Buddhist centre RIGPA in London. Through consistent practice, I experienced a profound transformation —a spiritual awakening— that opened me to a higher level of consciousness and allowed me to access a deep well of energy that had been dormant within my body.

I have never been a religious person and am not part of any religion today, yet through meditation alone, I came to understand the concept of God, Source, Oneness, the Absolute. It was through meditation that I learned about spirituality, about connecting with the deepest part of oneself, the essence that exists beyond thoughts, roles, or material achievements. 

The path of self-discovery that followed was anything but easy. It forced me to confront uncomfortable truths, heal old wounds, navigate deep emotional struggles, and question everything I thought I knew about myself. Yet, through these challenges, I experienced a profound transformation, one that, despite its difficulty, ultimately changed my life for the better.

Navigating an Identity Shift

As I dived deeper into self-discovery, I began to question everything: my life decisions, career path, relationships, goals, and purpose. At one point, I wanted to quit science and become a high-school teacher. Then I considered becoming a meditation instructor, an illustrator, and a graphic designer. It wasn't until I started rebuilding myself on many areas that I finally realized my true calling: to use my personal experience to support others as they navigate the profound changes that an spiritual awakening or an awakening of consciousness brings.

To reach that clarity, I explored an extensive array of therapies. From traditional psychoanalysis and coaching to alternative modalities like energy healing, inner child work, journaling, self-expression through art, dream analysis, hypnotherapy, and plant medicine among others, each practice played a role in my transformation. These approaches helped me peel back layers of conditioning, heal deep-seated wounds, integrate my ego, and navigate the process without completely falling apart. Slowly, a more authentic version of myself started emerging.

I completely re-evaluated my life. I transformed my daily habits, reconnected with my values, and began designing a life with purpose. I adopted a healthier diet, stepped away from the constant noise of social media, and shifted from passive consumption to more active and fulfilling pursuits like dancing and creating art. I recovered old friendships, let go of unhealthy relationships, made new connections, and conducted a full 360-degree review of my life.

The journey was neither easy nor quick—it demanded courage, patience, and vulnerability. But it was also the most profound and rewarding transformation of my life, allowing me to live with greater authenticity and purpose.

The Science Behind my Transformation

As I began noticing the many changes happening within me, I felt compelled to understand their physiological origin. This curiosity led me to dive deep into literature to try to connect my experiences with scientific explanations. These are some of the things I learned:

Reduced Stress, Fear, Anxiety and Reactivity.

This was all possibly a result of my meditation practice. Meditation reduces the size and activity of the AMYGDALA, the brain's emotional processing centre responsible for the fight-or-flight response. Meditation also strengthens the connection between the PREFRONTAL CORTEX (responsible for executive functions and rational thinking) and the AMYGDALA, enhancing the brain's ability to regulate emotions and respond thoughtfully rather than reactively.

Improved Focus and Cognitive Function.

Meditation, a sugar-free diet and regular exercise likely worked together to optimize my brain function. Meditation strengthens the PREFRONTAL CORTEX and reduces the activation of the DEFAULT MODE NETWORK responsible for mind wandering. A sugar-free diet stabilizes blood sugar levels, preventing energy crashes and inflammation, which supports sustained mental clarity and sharper concentration.

Healing at a Cellular-Level.

My meditation practice, the change of diet, and the development of a positive and creative mindset likely influenced my gene expression (defined as EPIGENETICS), contributing to the healing of a chronic skin condition that I had developed at age 12.

Accessing Compassion, Intuition and Flow.

Meditation enhances self-awareness and empathy by calming the AMYGDALA and strengthening the PREFRONTAL CORTEX which could have fostered my experience of deep connection to others and heightened intuitive insights. A SPIRITUAL AWAKENING can expand one's perception beyond ego-driven thought, contributing to unlock a sense of interconnectedness that fuels compassion and creative inspiration. Lastly, a sugar-free diet stabilizes ENERGY and reduces BRAIN FOG, which could have supported my mental clarity and steady focus essential for maintaining intuitive awareness and entering a flow state. This deeper connection to myself unlocked further experiences like lucid dreaming, synchronicities, manifestation, and blissful creativity.

Improved Digestion and Better Fitness.

I lost weight, discovered the impact of certain food groups on my overall wellness, found a diet that suits my digestive system, and became the fittest I’ve ever been. The changes I introduced likely optimized my METABOLIC and HORMONAL BALANCE and positively impacted my GUT MICROBIOME.

Feeling Energy Within My Body.

As I cleared blockages in my energetic body, I began feeling my own energy. First, as waves in the back of my head, then, tingling vibrations in my arms and legs, and eventually dense energy in my palms. Eastern traditions like CHINESE MEDICINE and AYURVEDA suggest these sensations reflect the flow of ENERGY (Qi or Prana) through pathways in the body, restored through practices such as meditation and breathwork.

Impact and Fulfilment

The ripple effects of the above changes were profound. Some of the most impactful achivements were: 

Better Decision-Making. With greater mental clarity, improved emotional regulation, and a newfound intuition, I began making more holistic choices that felt right on every level. Ultimately, this led me to make a career transition—leaving science to become a coach dedicated to fostering Conscious Leadership.

Higher Productivity. With my newfound ability to achieve deeper states of focus and increased mental and emotional energy to dedicate to what truly mattered, I began prioritizing effectively and accomplishing more with less effort. As a result, I was promoted 3 times within 3 years at my last job.

Improved Relationships. My connections—whether personal or professional—became more meaningful and authentic. I distanced from unhealthy relationships, recovered old friendships and created new ones, more aligned with who I truly am. I still enjoy the companion of my high-school friends and I'm the closest I've ever been to my partner of 20 years. 

Clarity in Values and Purpose. I redefined what success means to me, updated my values, and gained clarity on my purpose: I decided that I want to focus on impacting people through coaching, specifically empowering leaders to create an even greater ripple effect.

Fulfilment and Contentment. Even amidst life’s challenges, such as the loss of a loved one or the lost of my job, I managed to find peace and keep a feeling of fulfillment and contentment with life. This was probably my most significant achivement.

Qualifications

I'm a Certified Professional Coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and I specialised in Leadership Coaching (COR.E Leadership Dynamics). I'm also an ELI-Master Practitioner, and I'm a Positive Intelligence Coach™. I have a PhD in Biology and I've been an active mindfulness meditator for the past 10 years.   

My own transformation showed me that change is not only possible—it can lead to a life more fulfilling than you ever imagined. That realization inspired me to share what I’ve learned and support others in achieving their own breakthroughs.

Today, my purpose is clear: to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Coaching & Mentoring is how I’ve chosen to contribute to the world.

As a leader, I’ve experienced firsthand the profound impact of embracing conscious leadership—on myself, the people I guided, and the organizations I served. Through my coaching practice, I aim to blend evidence-based strategies with spiritual insights to help leaders at any level navigate their own awakenings and uncover their deeper purpose.
